Unboxing an Edwardian photographic enlarger: ASMR

Join Curatorial Co-ordinator Dan as he carefully opens up an Edwardian box to reveal an innovative piece of early photographic processing equipment.

This daylight enlarger was used to turn negatives into photographic prints. Listen in as Dan demonstrates how the equipment would have worked – carefully clipping the metal struts in place, twisting delicate knobs and unfolding the leather bellows to create an important light-tight seal.
